    Just a basic question.
Im intending to get hd advance for obvious reasons but was wondering what the procedure for loading a game is like once you have your system fully set up.Do you have to use the hd advance disks to access your ps2 hdd EVERY time you want to play? or is it that once you have it all set up you only actually need to use hd advance software to add media to your hdd.
My reason for asking is that i can borrow a copy of hd advance for installation but will i need to use this software every-time i play off the hdd thus making far more sense to get my own copy? Please if anyone could offer me some kind of explanation i would ne eternally greatfull.
    Cheers.

Yes you will need your own original copy. You need the disk to boot the HDD advance elf file. You will basically have an exploit on a bootable disc.(like a mod chip on a disc)
