Hi, I have two Xbox: - One with Modchip and a 120 GB HD. - The other one with a Softmod, and the original HD. But, If i put my 120 GB HD into the other one, this xbox doesnt work, i got an error at boot (the black screen with some green fonts from microsoft.), what i need to fix this?
well let me tell you this when you install a hd to a hard modded xbox it works without much hassle but putting a new one into a softmodded one youll get many errors..this is caused by the eeprom which is a code that goes from you xbox to your HD and if they dont match then it wont work....so basicly what i am saying is that you have to format your HD to your xbox by following a tutorial or something... and its really not an easy task... i wouldnt do it unless you are going to keep that HD in that softmodded xbox
