i have an ntsc ps2, although its for asia not japan (uk plugs and dvd region 3) but it plays only jap ntsc games and has not been modified at all. (i also have a pretty knackered pal uk ps2)

    this is the one:

    http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-o-70-2wh.html#

how can i find out what version it is? or can someone tell from the pics?

will i be able to use hd loader/advance on this ps2?

do i need a japanese/asian network adapter or can i just get a uk/pal one?

the hard drive i was thinking of getting is:

    maxtor 120gb http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/prod...2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=43152

althou i've seen that hd advance 2 can work on upto 200gb hdds. and theres a similar 200gb maxtor drive for £25 more. but next to hd adv2, it says ntsc us/canada, does this mean it only works on us systems or only transfers us games?

if i use the imported ps2, is it possible to use hd loader/advance to transfer my pal games onto the hdd and play them?

all i have is original pal games bar 2 ntsc jap games.

thanks for reading through that and thanks for any help provided!
