    Hi
    I have been trying to figure this problem out for a while now and it is doing my head in. I succsfully got my PS2 to boot a PS2.elf menu which allows me to run other .elfs via the buttons on the controller. I have also set up my FTP to my PS2 HD & MC and can send files across easily.

    But I am having probs with HDLOADER.ELF AND HDAVANC.ELF. I have a mod PS2 with a 200 gb harddrive, and a retail version of hd advance (which works fine from the cd)

    I downloaded hdloader.elf and hdadavnce.elf and successfully copied them to my mem card. All the links are correct in the KL.DAT file to these elfs, but when i try to run them, i get a loading screen and them a black screen, which stays there forever.

    My .elfs are in the BEDATA-SYSTEM directory and the below is my KL.DAT file...

    AUTO=2
    []=mc0:/FAPLINK/fap_srv.elf;Fap Link (Use this to Send ISO to PS2 HD)
    /\=mc0:/BEDATA-SYSTEM/EXECFTPS.ELF;ExecFTPs (FTP Files to PS2 & memcard)
    O=mc0:/BEDATA-SYSTEM/ps2menuku.elf;PS2Menu-K 0.31 (Browse MC, HD, UMCDR's)
    X=mc0:/BEDATA-SYSTEM/HDLOADER.ELF;HDD Loder Free
    R1=mc0:/BEDATA-SYSTEM/BOOT.ELF;Check www.ps2hd.com for info on running games from HD
    R2=mc0:/BEDATA-SYSTEM/HDDFRMT.ELF;HDD Format Tool
    R3=
    L1=mc0:/BEDATA-SYSTEM/LaunchELF.ELF;LaunchELF (Copy from USB and other stuff)
    L2=mc0:/BEDATA-SYSTEM/hdd_explorer_48bit.elf;HD Explorer
    L3=rom0:OSDSYS;swap in psone backup here and press L3 (v9 only)

    All of the other programs work ok. I can run the ps2menuku.elf ok but it only supports hd up to 130GB so i am loosing 70gb!! Is there a way to get my hdloader/advance to run or is there a way to patch the ps2menuku to take a 200gb hard drive.

    thanks for any help you can give me

    You should use the HDAdvanced DVD already it supports 200GB

    hd loader works on my memory card. Im not totally sure, but i think there are more files than just the hdloader.elf file needed.
