hey guys, just wondering, my cousin just bought a new 250GB hdd for his xbox with hardmod, now i have put hdd's in softmod about 100 times, but never a hardmod, would i be able to make the hdd the same way with xboxhdm or do i have to use the slayers disk. and what i am getting from the search is that all i have to do is put the hdd in, boot from slayers and that will build the drive?? can someone clarify for me please?? thanks.
I use auto installer deluxe 3.10. Swap h.d., launch bios with a.i.d disk in and the rest is cake. Slayer will work the same way although I don't use the program.
ok, so i just put the new hdd and run the autoinstaller deluxe. but then how do i know what bios to use? do i absolutely have to flash bios?? or is this just so i can access the rest of my space other than the 137gb?
