I have the official Sony HDD, but want a Maxtor 120G 7200 rpm, 8Mg cache drive instead.

Has anyone had issues with a 7200 rpm drive overheating?

dont strain it to much... aka 4 hours of play non stop... 2 hours of play then 20mins of cooling down... nothing big really...

have you had any disc failures over it?

I'm thinking about fitting a laptop fan into the console - any ideas?
