    Anyone know where i can get a HDD for the ps3
    looking for anything from 120 - 320 gb
    SOMEONE POST A LINK OR TELL ME WHERE THEY GOT IT FROM , btw im in the uk

    The one from ebuyer will not...

    The one from amazon will...

    The thing you need to look for is "2.5 Serial ATA" that is the type of drive the PS3 uses. Not 3.5, 2.5

    ^^ What he said is exactly what you need: 2.5 SATA (serial ATA).

    Word 'round the campfire says the HDD we get should be limited to 5400 RPM and 8 mb cache. Anything above 5400 RPM would be counterproductive. Why? I dunno. That's what I heard. The 8 mb, I think, correlates to the RPM so you're most likely not going to find a 5400 RPM with 16 mb of cache--i think. Don't quote me on that.

    Regardless, I got a seagate 120 gb, 5400 RPM, 8 mb cache HDD for 90 bucks at newegg. Newegg is the best--greatest deals and fastest shipping.
