headac3he problem

    i try to make a vcd and i am separating the audio from the avi file with virtual dub.i am renaming this wav.file to an ac3 file and try to use it with headac3he but i get this :"bad syncword at frame 202507! The AC3 stream is probably corrupt."
    Does anyone know what to do?

    after seperating the audio into wav dont rename the audio. use tmpgenc vcd encoder.it should sync video and audio (wav) together.easy.

    i didnt think you could convert from wav to ac3 ???
    just renaming it wouldnt work, and how many channels are you trying to do with head ?
