I'm having problems backing up this game. I used DVDDecrypter to make an ISO and patched it with the Toxic patch. It starts to boot and shows some of the intro crap, but when I hit a button to get to the title screen, the screen just stays black. I have a v7 PS2 with a Magic V chip. I've never had any other problems with any DVD9 games, other than MGS Substance, which apparently no one can get to work.

have you tried just copying all the data to your hard drive and then burning it to a DVD?

That won't boot if I did it, it would have to be rebuilt. You can't just make an ISO DVD and throw files in it, it has to be made in a certain way.
