Hi i've started building a pc for my friend, i've had no experience in this before so it's mostly new to me. Everything was going well every seemed to connect properly followed the manual to every point, i managed to power up the pc, the fans moved, hard drives started spinning and the lights came on, but when i connected the display, no bios system. In fact nothing came up on the screen, just a message saying no input, the output was through the video card which works fine, so i tried it on the motherboard video display and still nothing. What shall i do?

disconnect all cables to drives. reseat the ram. make certain the cmos jumper is in default postion, check manual for that. make certain both motherboard power connectors from psu is connected.
