i have the dvd software Sonic and when i try to copy a dvd it says it is copyright protected. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to copy dvd's with Sonic software.

Can't be done. The DVD's are incrypted you have to use another program to rip your disk to your hard drive. Check out DVD Shrink or DVD Decrypter. There are guides here to show you how to use them.

    tralley,
In DVD Shrink, Try clicking edit->preferences-->FileI/O-->untick enable burning with Nero.
