Okay i downloaded this Japanese PS2 DVD Game it is 1.8GB, and it just says "Image Files" it doesnt say if its a .mdf or .mds or anything. Should i just burn it to a DVD-R at 8X with Alcohal? I'm assuming it is a .iso. Does it matter what format it is, and if i have to convert it what program do i use?

if it is an image file you should just be able to
burn it.and only burn them at 8X if you use 16X discs, and ven then i still like 4X better as a burning speed.

Thx, i managed to convert the .iso file into a .mds and .mdf file. I'm going to try burning it at 4X.

It is unneccessary to convert the image file. Some common disk image formats include: .BIN/.CUE, .IMG, .NRG, .MDF/.MDS, .CCD, and .IMG. Alcohol 120% should be able to handle most if not all of these disk image formats.
