Heya I'ma checking in again and wondering which mod chip 2 buy. I want 2 a No Solder, Plug-in Mod Chip for v5/6/7 with the magic swap disc thing. I'm wondering if its good. Also will mod chips work wit cd-rw's?

It's not chips that work with the media, it's the laser, and I believe the lasers do not read cd-rws without adjustment. You can go to modchip.com if you don't mind paying more than you really should for a PS2 no-solder chip. You can also go to www.gamegizmo.com for no solder chips/swap disks. The swap disks are unreliable for booting newer DVD-R games, but it would seem you plan on playing just cd-rs? If you decide against all this swapping, and go for a no-swap chip, I suggest the Magic 3.1, it's cheap and good.
