I have a Pioneer 105 burner which will not burn DVDs, when i'm at the burning stage an error message reads: Drive not ready, disk not inserted. I can burn CDs and SVCD on this burner, the software I'm using is Power director pro 2.55, the media type is TDK DVD-RW
Write Speed for your burner is: DVD-R 4X, 2X, 1X-CLV DVD-RW 2X, 1X-CLV Is your DVD-RW media compatible to 2x write speed?
I have updated the firmware and still have the problem however, the TDK media is 4x write speed can this really make a difference ? Thanks Budo.
BUDO20 If your media has the ability to burn at 4x and also 2x then no. But if your Burner only sees this media as a DVD-RW 4x then absolutely since it only can burn a DVD-RW at 2x.
Post your burner information so I can look it up, including the manufacturer, exact model number, etc.
The model is : Pioneer DVD-RW DVR105 Firmware version 1.30 Disc info ? version 1-5-5-9 Read speed 32 x Write speed 16 x Thanks Budo
