HELP, Can't System Restore

    My computer has decided that I no longer have a driver for my Cd/dvd drive, it's there in device manager but has error 39, driver is missing or corrupt, have tryed to find a driver no luck.
    So I tryed to System restore, will not restore back to any checkpoint have tryed in Safe mode etc
    Dvd drive is ASUS DRW 1604-p

    If you went to System Manager and uninstall whatever is there for your Drive --- then rebooted , Windows would automatically provide the driver you need !
