Ok, so I have spent well over 6 hours today reading about downgradeing 2.80 to 1.50. I bought my PsP not long after launch (3 months at most) I looked toi make sure I didnt have the "IC1003" inside of my UMD door and there isnt anything in there. So I start up the 2.80 to 1.50 once it starts it pops up and says not version 79-81. So can anyone help me?

Are you sure you don't have a TA-82 or higher Motherboard.

Here is an image where you should be looking (If there is text then it is a TA-82 or higher motherboard)...

If there is Text there then go to the link inkz gave above and look under the section of -2.80 PSP (TA-82 or TA-86)

If there is no text there then look at the section of -2.80 PSP.
