bought a camy faceplate, everything goes in as it should but the analog stick will not work, if i push in any direction nothing will happen, and for the times it does work (sometimes)the up and left on the d-pad act like im pushing diagonally (north-west)on the analog.

you might have a loose connection/short circuited the analoge stick. take off your faceplate and make sure everything is where they are suppose to be.

obviously not mate, your analog stick dont sound correct. lol
take the faceplate back off and look where the bottom off the analog would sit on the psp. there should be a flat'ish metal plate with a hole in. in between the hole n the screen the is a slot in the metal. check there is a little piece of rubber in it.
