Can anyone tell me if you can use your cars(Modified) that you have stored on your memory card in a Multi LAN race. I know that you couldn't in GT3. Also I own a older style PS2 (SCPH-3002), And I want to know what type of cable do you use to connect the PS2 to PS2 via a Network Adaptor (Ethernet)? Is it a 10/100mbps network cable? Do I just use a 10/100mbps Hub to connect 3 or More PS2 together? Thankyou to Anyone That Can Help Me!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you just use either a crossover cable (PS2 broadband to PS2 broadband) or a HUB/Switch with standard CAT V cables on each PS2.

On GT3 you had to use what Sony called an "I-Link" cable, which is mearly a FireWire cable with a fancy Sony proprietary head on one end, and a USB type A on the other.

But for some reason, the I-Link port was dropped on version 8 PS2's and up (I think).

Only USB ports on the front of the system now?!?!?!
