I keep getting an error message when I close down my Internet Explorer. The message says (Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.)It has encountered an error signature problem. thank you for the help.

This seems out of place, but still:
    1) You may check for virus/spyware
    2) You may completely uninstall and reinstall IE to see if the problem still persists
    3) You may forget about IE (so limited in functions and so vulnerable to attacks) and switch to another browser such as Maxthon or Firefox. You can get more information about these free programs here:

    Good luck!

First of all if your using windows XP update to service pack2. I had this problem and this fixed it.

Second, as scf_au said you must run/use a decent virus-spyware program.

The best free virus program is AVG and Spyware I suggest is Spybot or Webroot Spy-sweeper

I think spybot is free but Webroot spysweeper is not

    Have fun
