When installing the chip, I accidently bridged the BIOS chip. But i thought i had cleaned all of the solder off. Could there still be some on the chip and that's why my PS2 won't boot up?? THANKS!

Yep. Check ALL the connections with a 8x glass and some desolder braid.

OK, i got the solder out, but the PS2 still will not boot up. I turn it on, and i get nothing but a black screen. Could there be a chance that i fried my BIOS chip????

    There is allways that chance.
Desolder everything and see if you can get it back to a working PS2 again. IF you get it working try to install again. If you can't get it back thats it.
