Hello everybody, well Christmas is almost here and this year I feel it is time to trash the CRT piece of crap and get a LCD HDTV. People that post in this forum know a lot, so please tell me my best bet based on these limitations/requirements:

    Price: $600-$700
Size: 32" to however large possible
    720p - 720p/1080i
    HDMI input
vga/d-sub connection to hook up to my comp

I will probably get this on Black Friday hopng the prices will be reduced a bit. Any suggestions would be truly appreciated!

Thanks to all that post in advance :)

Hey svtstang, I think you can have a look at the Westinghouse SK-32H240S 32 Inch Widescreen LCD HDTV:
    1366 x 768 pixel resolution
    1200:1 contrast ratio
    16:9 aspect ratio
    8 ms response time
    HDTV 480p, 720p, 1080i
I got to know that the price is not quite good now a recent deal on it is for $580:

Eh thanks for the link and the Vizio recommendation, appreciated!

I have been doing A LOT of searching, what do you guys think of this?

It is $549, plus with AAA I will get another 10% off. I am sure the Westinghouse is a better tv, at $500 would I be making a good purchase? I do realize the Olevia is kind of short in the connection department, but that is nothing a $50 switch can fix!

Thank you again for helping me out..I am so anxious it is ridiculous!
