i needed to burn some movies with some double layered DVDs, so i bought some off the internet. they are doubled sided DVDs with one layer on each side though. I tried using DVD Decrypter but it says it only has 1 layer. is there any other programs that i have to buy to burn the movies on those disks, or do i have to buy new DVDs.

If you want to use the double sided discs, you'll have to split the dvd ... or put two movies on it. Compress one movie to one side, then compress another movie to the other side.

velcro, are these movies already compressed?

if not flip was suggesting that you split the movie into two files, compress them so that it will fit on a dvd, and then burn it to either a double sided disc, half on each side, or on two single discs.

    good luck!
