    Hello,

    I've hardsubbed hundreds of episodes of anime with MeGui of the past few months (to play on our media player which renders subtitles terribly, so they have to be hardcoded).
    All I did was make a script file like this

    directshowsource("C:\Path\Filename.mkv")

    dragged that script file into Megui and hit Queue. It worked beautifully everytime. Subtitles with all their stylings.

    Now it says
    "The colorspace of your clip is not in YV12...
    Do you want me to add ConvertToYV12() to the end of your script ?"
    So I say yes and it adds
    ConvertToYV12()
    to the end of the file. Which I suppose is OK but

    it doesn't render the subtitles at all anymore!

    What happened to it? Did it do an auto update and break itself?
    I tried reinstalling MEgui again but its still broken.

    Can someone help me please!

    Gosh! This forum really hums doesn't it? :)

    I ended up switching to cyko/handbrake and using yamb to merge in the original audio to the hardsubbed file. mp4's probably a more widely used format than mkv anyway.
