HELP MPG TO DVD-R GOING NUTS

    Going totally nuts.
    I will paypal anyone Some funds for there time an help.
    I have downloaded every F'n mpg to DVD thing on download.com theres always a damn problem LOL.
    This is all i want to do::
    I have MPG files i downloaded (music videos)
    I want to take the MPG files edit them alittle and burn them to a dvd-R.
    I have had DIVX lets me do it to a +R but not to -R.
    Please tell me the software I need to buy to do this and I will get it tonight and fund you for you help.

    Checked it out, easy to understand.
    Hope it works to a dvd-r, trying it tonight.
    Wat do you suggest to edit the dvd, a couple video I have i would like to snip a piece off anything you suggest?
    If this works, i would like to donate to you site.

    Nah, no conversion needed (probably).
    Get ReJig, select Author, load the mpg, and go.
    Burn the finished Video_TS folder to DVD-R, using the proper DVD Video template in whatever burning program you have.

    ReJig is that the name of the program?

    LOL thats almost to funny.. What do you think you are doing when you run it threw ReJig? Converting it!!!

    The easiest way to do that would be to use VirtualDub before you convert them. :)

    If it's a relatively compliant mpeg-2 to begin with, ReJig won't do any "encoding", it will convert and then author.
    There's a big difference between encoding and converting.

    Same with DivXtoDVD. However the files are downloaded from the internet and in MPEG format so I would guess there is going to be some encoding needed. :)

    Quite possibly. The OP did say "music videos", so I was assuming from a legit source, which means they should be of a compliant aspect/framerate.
