Help need help burning files to dvd

    Ok heres my problem i want to back up some files on to dvd i tried using dvd-rw dvd-r,dvd+r so far nothing works im using nero6.0 i have the pioneer dvd106d everytime i try to burn the files on dvd i get error i tried drag and drop the wizard from nero nothing works heres the error i get " Sorry your compilation cannot be written on this kind of disc. Please insert a disc of the correct type or modify settings of your compilation to make compatible with other disc." I tried all kinds of disc. A little long and mybe unclear but i hope u get the picture.

    What kind of files are you talking about? What option did you use in Nero?

    just files like avi mpeg and i use nero add files and copy

    Ok downloaded it it satys stuck at 98% i have dvd rw- i just added a 442k word file and dosent work

    You may have a problem with the aspi files necessary for burning, or possibly a missing dll file. Anyway try downloading force aspi from here and try again - it's perfectly safe to do so:http://www.clonecd.net/aspi.htm
    I would also check in device manager that your drive is installed correctly and that there are no quaetion marks next to it.
