Help needed for locating compression software?

    Hi peeps,
    I want to know how to put 2 movies on one dvd disc, but one movie is 3.5gb. Is there any software that compresses dvd movie files?

    2nd question, is there any DVD menu making software???

    hi use dvdshrink its very good iam been using two movies on to dl discs without compressing it works great
    iam also looking for freeware menu making softy so ican use in shrink like commerical two ino ne dvds

    What If I wanted to put 2 menu-based movies. Ive got Predator 1 & 2 on seperate discs, how could I put them on one disc, with the menus intact. Any help appreciated.

    You can use DVDReMake to combine two DVD on one and than DVD Rebuilder to compress to one DVD.
    I you want to do this get rid of all the stuff from each DVD you do not need, like different languages, subtitles and other stuff to get file size as small as possible before combining. All can be done in Remake.
    Use DVD9 for burning.
    Do not use Shrink for compression as the output will not be too good, get Rebuilder Pro for DVD9 compression.
    Do not try single layer as it will end up with really low bitrate.

    Thanx Suba but....DVD9? What is that?? is that a DVD disc? Im using DVD discs, size 4.7GB, cant I use that instead?

    DVD9 is dual layer DVD.
    If you want to combine two movies on one disk that would be way to go, because usualy one movie striped of all the extras will be about 5.5 to 6.5GB. To compress two on one 4.3GB (4.7=DVD5) disk will give you lousy picture.
    Mind you to produce DVD9 you need dual layer burner.
