I have decrypted a DVD (just a certain chapters of the DVD) in my hard drive what am trying to do is, decrypt several other DVDs (only certain chapters of the DVD again) and combine them to create one DVD

What I have noticed after decrying couple of DVD I got exactly same name files but just different sizes, any of getting around this problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

    VTS_01_0.BUP (BUP File 48kb)
    VTS_01_1 (VOB File 933567kb)

    Decrypted Files From Second DVD
    VIDEO_TS (IFO File 9kb)
    VIDEO_TS.BUP (BUP File 9kb)
    VTS_01_0 (IFO File 52kb)
    VTS_01_0.BUP (BUP File 52kb)

    hi

ok name all the VOB files in SEQUENCE!!! like this!

dump the IFO and BUP files out of the folder!

    VTS_01_1.VOB
    VTS_01_2.VOB
    VTS_01_3.VOB
    VTS_01_4.VOB
    VTS_01_5.VOB
    VTS_01_6.VOB
    VTS_01_7.VOB
    VTS_01_8.VOB

then get IFOEDIT and use that to make the new bup and fio files to go with your renamed vobs!

click the button in ifoedit called CREATE IFO (bottom center of main window)

NOTE! use same destination folder as vobs for the new ifo / bup!

then when done burn them in nero useing ADD_VIDEO tab in dvd mode and place all files in the folder nero makes called VIDEO_TS and burn

    enjoy!

    Hi Rotary

    Progress……….
I used DVD Shrink software, anyways the software allows me to copy the specific titles to my hard drive but it doesn’t allow me to copy the chapters I need. The entire lot is displayed like Title (which doesn’t give me the option to select the chapters)

    Example:
    Title 1
Title 2 (there’s about 11 chapters in this title I need the fifth and the seventh)
    Title 3

This is what I did (after encoding the DVD to my hard drive with DVD shrink):
Use another software DVD2Clone which allows me to select the specific chapters, but the thing is when I use the DVD2Clone it doesn’t give the opportunity to save the specific chapter to the hard drive so you need to burn it to the DVD straight away (DVD-RW). Then encode the DVD back to the hard drive, so I’ll have just the specific chapter (do that to all of the chapters I need in different DVDs and then finally burn it to a DVD-R).

It’s a pretty long and tedious process, so let you know if you got a better way of doing this.

Thanx Again, For Helping Me Out :)

    hi

sorry i thought you had all the files ready to go and needed to burn them in 1 film...

ok, if i wanted to take certain chapter / clips from a dvd i would use tmpgenc dvd author, you can edit out what you "dont want" and backup the files to your hard drive, do this for each movie...

also when you got all your files ready load back to dvd author and it will make a chapter piont for each clip! and you can use a simple menu or not!

it has a wizard to help walk you through its great!

    hi

you can probaly add 3 dvds in one go to edit each one in turn then backup in one go! then load back in for menu / chapter pionts!

oh you can use aninamted movie clips from your files for each menu link! or put your own animated background in from your clips aswell or just use jpeg pics for links or background? your chioce...

just double click the parts to make animated!
