hi, i've just started using torrents (utorrent, azureus). when im using azureus, somehow the speed is acceptable (30kb/s minimum) but utorrent is below 5kb/s, and there's this red light that's saying that i should open some ports, so i checked some FAQs, but im kinda stuck because i dont know what my router is.. and the default gateway isnt working when i enter it in the internet browser, i was just wondering if there's any software or way to know what router u are using.. i tried looking at the router and frankly, there's nothing written there but FASTWEB(isp in italy) and the serial.
help would be really appreciated... thanks in advance

Sounds like a modem/router combo. At any rate, if there isn't a sticker (bottom ?) saying what you have, contact your ISP. As for the Default Gateway, as far as I know, it only works in Internet Explorer and not other Browser's if that applies.
