I have a panasonic dvd-S55 player and for some reason it plays burned dvd's in black and white (usually I use ultraiso to burn iso files and recordnow to burn video_ts files). It will play retial dvd's fine, and the burned dvd's play perfectly on computer, but using the dvd player, they are black&white. The sound plays fine, just no color. I use a dvd+r.
If anyone can help me fix this problem, please reply.

Many remotes have a Pal/NTSC button - if so, try pressing it.

I did get an answer off a different site. The dvd's I burned were PAL but I live in US so they need to be NTSC. I have to convert the files before burning and then they work fine. Takes a long time but not hard with the right software like Ulead Movie Factory (also authors movie and can add menu) or a stand alone encoder like Canopus.
