help please, trying to burn a file

    i am using a dazzle to make a vhs into a video file(mpeg2) and my shrink don't see the file and when i drag it over it says it has the wrong name. granbn

    By mpeg2, I'm assuming you mean a SVCD file/s?

    Shrink recognizes two file types, they are:
    .iso image files and your standard .bup .ifo .vob movie files.

    If it's a SVCD (MPEG-2) file you have, then you'll need to convert the file to DVD format in order for shrink to see it and use it. You have two options for the conversion:

    1)If you have Nero, then use nerovision to convert with
    2)A free converter to try is called SUPER, you can get it here

    Once the file has been converted to a DVD compliant one, shrink will have on problem with it.
