I have an Executer 2.2 chip and it "was" working fine then, I woke up the other day and no video is appearing on the screen, and my hd doesn't seem like it's fully booting. But when i first turn it on the only thing i can hear is the xbox loading sound. Is my xbox broken for good? or is this problem fixable? As for now my progress in ninja gaiden will be haulted!

check your cables first. did you, by any chance, play around w/ the video settings of your xbox (switched to PAL from NTSC or vice versa?)

yikes!! you shouldn't touch that since it automatically chooses the settings.

here's what you do: look for the enigmah video switch app, burn it on a cd-rw or dvd-r (put dummy files just in case), load it in your dvd drive and since your xbox doesn't have a display, press either A (if it's for PAL) or B(if it's for NTSC). wait for a few secs and see if it works out or you can restart the box. hope this fixes it....
