just downloaded a movie with internet explorer and after it finished it started copying it from Temp folder to desktop. i pressed cancel by mistake is there any chance i can get the file back????? i've checked the main temp folder but its not there, has it been deleted??? the movie had finished dwnloadin completely.
try searching for the file name. if it's not in the temp folder and the move wasn't completed, it's probably been deleted. however, unless the particular part of the hard drive where that file was stored has not yet been overwritten, then a data recovery program should be able to salvage it.
