OK, I tried searching for the answer but I haven't had any luck yet.

    Background Info:
-Project for mastering a cd and re-burning it.
    -13 wav files
    -DJ Mix CD
-Installed Software - Nero 6, Fireburner, and Alcohol 120%, & Sound Forge
    -CD Burner - Liteon SOHW-812S

Mastered the cd (single wav file) in Sound Forge, then extracted the regions to 13 wav files. Everything sounds fine in sound forge, both in the single files and the extracted files.

Since this is a DJ Mix cd, there are no pauses between tracks.

When burning a cd OR creating an image from the wav files., there is a popping sound when going from one track to the next. Now, the popping sound is very light, but it is there on almost every transition from track to track. Now, I've eliminated an issue if it is media, because I used nero & fireburner to create an image, then mounted it with Alcohol 120%, when playing the mounted volume, the issue still continues.

I'm not running anything in the background because I originally suspected that. All the files are on the same drive.

    Any suggestions? Please help...
