in order to copy files from xbox to computer u need to use a ftp program. u need to connect you xbox to your computer with a router or just plug it into the back of your computer with a crossover cable. use flash fxp as your ftp program. from what i hear putting a new hdd in a softmodded xbox is very hard so get a chip or TSOP before u even attempt that.

Hello, when you executed the BackUp selection command in Evox DashBoard, it will backup all your existing xbox dashboard, evox dashboard, your harddisk eeprom serial keys, Bios and other essential files to start Mod Xbox

All these contents will be resided in your C drive - "BACKUP" folder.

You can then backup them via FTP method to your PC later on if you need them.
