    Hi,

My Nokia 3100 mobile phone was on the Orange Network. Orange dicontinued their network in Australia a couple of years ago. The 3 Network took over most of Orange Network's customers. 3 Network I believe is owned by Hutchison Telecom.

Would some kind person please be able to supply me with the unlock code for this phone. I am unable to ask Orange in Australia as they are no longer in operation and the 3 Network are very unhelpful. I also tried to find the MNC on the internet for the Orange Network, but as it is no longer in operation, there does not seem to be any info out there oon the MNC for Orange. So, I have come to a dead end. Your help would be most appreciated. I have so far spent hours trying to resolve this issue, but without any success.

    Thanks

    Hi Etowah,

Thanks very much for coming to my assitance. It is very much appreciated. However, the code you supplied to me did not work. I checked it after entry to be certain I entered the right code, but still received a 'code error' after entry.

What do you think I should do next?

    Kind regards,
    Mobi

the best thing to do ,is take the phone to a independant mobile shop to get it unlocked by hardware, also try a different network sim to check if it's still locked.
