help usin clone cd

i just got clonecd to make backups of pc games. im trying to backup Beach Life. the disk copies ok but when i use the copied disc it'll only install the game and i cannot play it. HELP!!!!!!!!!_X_X_X_X_X_[small]what-ever[/small]

 

Presuming that you can use CloneCD and it's settings correctly, and that the game is really protected - you could try using Alcohol instead: http://cd-rw.org/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/alcohol120.cfm

 

i tried alcohol 120 % but halfway through writing the new disc it said there was an error and stopped!

 

Are you copying on-the-fly or reading to an image first?

 

i have a laptop and 1 cd rw drive so i read to image first

 

Do you have an anti-virus program installed? You might try to disable it before burning.

beach life is protected with the new securom v-4.82.01.005
at the moment it is only possable to emulate this protection to play the disc from the hard disc without using the cd.
it is not possable to do a true 1:1 back up
(for now anyway)
