You used badly Alcohol. Alcohol is NOT able to build images, it's just able to burn them (for example, you cannot make an Audio CD from 10 MP3 files. You can just burn an Audio CD image, even if it's a protected one).
First, you need to make a VCD's .BIN/.CUE image with VCDgear (read the 'sticky' thread to learn how to use it) than you can burn that image with Alcohol (or anything else) into a brand new CD-R (with Alcohol's settings placed on 'Normal CD', if you use it).

Sorry, but what 'movie clip' means? A BIN/CUE? A .DAT?
VCDGear doesn't know which file it is, it reads only the extension.

VCDeasy is very good, but you need to register it to open big movies. Can you be more precise about the 'video clips'? Maybe I can help you ans VCDgear (and something else freeware) can be enough.

Well, if .mpeg means .MPG files, they can be OK for videos. Maybe you need to encode as "Video-CD MPG" with TMPGenc, first.
