I am NEW and have the VCR hooked up so I can record my old home movies from VHS to DVD-R but the DVD says no signal (but I can see and hear the tape playing on the tv). My VCR is older, the DVD player is a JVC DR-M10...the DVD-RW are fujifilm 4.7GB up to 2x and the other is Verbatim DVD-R 1-4 x speed. It doesn't look like the hookups are the problem...it is a set up issue but I can't seem to find where I went wrong. I am feeling rather stupid after an entire day of fighting this thing. Can anyone help me before I go crazy? Thanks.

How exactly is it hooked up to the DVD recorder??

Coaxle cable? Tune your DVD recorder to the proper station

Audio video cable's? Try hitting the AV button on your remote (DVD recorder remote)

Kind of need to know how you have it hooked up?
