I am looking for a program that is a free substitute for AnyDVD to allow me to backup protected movies. I would just use AnyDVD but my trial has ran out and I am unable to renew my trial version and I don't want to pay $39. If anybody has any suggestions or tips on how to get AnyDVD to allow me use the trial version or if there is another program that does the same thing, I would appreciate it.

uninstall anydvd.choose not to save any files when it asks.restart your computer.you can then reinstall the trial version and use it for the validity period.

i suggest you buy this program though.its the best program at what it does.

If you have used the program AnyDVD and don't think its worth buying then you should use one of the freeware programs, i.e., DVD Decryptor, DVD43, etc. and not try to find a way of "stealing" a program that you think is worthless!
