Ok I burnt an AVI file to a DVD-R and it plays on my DVD player but with no sound, now I know I am supposed to covert the video to MPEG or DVD, and I have tried this before using Cucusoft but the quality turns to shit. So does anyone have any suggestions, maybe there is a way to get the sound to work with AVI or Cucusoft is just a bad converter. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    What version are you using?
Maybe you could get better quality with Tmpeg encoder.

Sometimes you have to extract the sound from the avi file to wave. I do this with virtual dub. The when you start encoding it just select your video file. The audio file from the avi will automatically be choosen. Just select the wave file you created and encode it like before.
