i'm installing an Aladdin Adavance 64 into a motherboard, and all the wires are connected, but when I try to boot the xbox, it turns on, off, then on, off, then on again, and the third time it just shows a red glow on the xbox. could this be a bad connection or something worse?

Check all of your solder points for bridges and solder splashes. Make sure nothing is shorting, look at your points through a 8x magnifying glass.

im pretty confident about all the solder points except for d0, i struggled with that one. the point next to d0 has solder in it from when i was trying to attach d0... is this okay? also, i bit of solder splashed on a small circuit board, and it filled two small holes near it. is this bad???
