Well i was reading tutorials about speeding up torrents (i know its about seeds and stuff but there are lil things to help <.<), they say i need to copy my default gateway code or w/e into a browser..so i go run, type in cmd and the number is 10.38.0.1 i paste it in to a browser...and the page doesn't load...it says it needs to be refreshed ...but it never works......is there any other way to get onto the page so i can edit my ports. please help! i am getting 10kb on a torrent while my friend is in the triple digits =( . thank you for all your help.

    David

You do want to default gateway number. Did you put http:// in front of it?

What kind of router are you using?

Another way to access you router is to search your network for UPnP devices (go to network places and your should see it on the side panel if your using XP). Your router should be picked up and then you can just click on the icon.
