On the Settings tab, set the aspect ratio to NTSC or PAL.
On the ADVANCED tab, set the input to 1:1 VGA, Keep Aspect Ratio 2.

Open the file in Gspot, and post a screenshot, or at least give us the aspect ratios, video codec and audio codec.
It's best if you don't use tmpgenc to do audio, do it separately, then join during authoring.

thanks for the help but i found out it worked if i cut the end off for just a half a second. For some reason it thought it kept going and there would be just black space for an hour. ty
