help with dlink router

    i am trying to increase my utorrent download speeds and i am having some difficulties, i have read through several threads and have figured out nothing, i am using a dlink DI-524, and have gone as far as my ip address, through password,etc. now what i cannot find my manual and they website is not helping me...
    anyone got some advice please?

    thanks but im still stumped, what is my private ip and private port, public port??

    The private and public port are the port you choose for uTorrent.
    The private IP is the static IP.
    The guide has a link to guides on creating a static IP for different softwares.

    If you follow the steps and fill in the blanks along the way, the guide will fill in those numbers at the end.

    i did this, and completed it ok, but i still can't download any fastyer than 15kb/sec...don't know what is wrong..do i have to do anything with my LAN settings?

    just wanted to let you know i stumbled across what was wrong in my utorrent under speed guide it was set at low bandwidth...my bad.
