Help with recording Xbox audio required.

    Sorry to sound like a newbie but I want to record music from the soundtracks of Xbox games onto my laptop.

    I have bought an s-video adapter for my Xbox but the laptop doesn't recognise this as a valid input signal in programs like Windows Movie Maker.

    I've checked all over the site and still can't find any details. Can anyone help me out, please?

    i forgive you, but s-video is for video; it doesnt send sound through that.
