    Hi

    I have 6230i locked with vodafone and wish to unlock it.

    IMEI number 357066004417879

    I have tried a generating program and entered the +1 and +7 codes and got code error with a vocafone SIM card in.

    Do I need to have the sim card in and if so which one? The original one (which I don't have although I do have another vodafone SIM card) or the one for the network I wish to use?

    Could someone who knows what they are doing supply me wih a set of codes?

    The ones I used were;

    #pw+401617436641537+1#
    #pw+ 898141524326362+7#

    WHat did I do wrong?

    Many thanks

    You had only 3-5 attempts. Now have you only 1-3.

    Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
    Press the UNDO option
    You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
    Enter the code given and then press (OK)

    Thank you very much! That did the trick.

    I still don't understand why the code was different than the ones I got but not to worry.

    Was it just the fact that I didn't have the restricted SIM in?

    Many thanks
