    Ok ...

I'm having problems with major audio sync in a movie i'm converting from .avi to DVD.

In virtualDub i'm getting the improper VBR error message, so i've saved the WAV in Full processing mode. When i play the .avi using the WAV in VirtualDub it plays perfectly .... so a good WAV file, right?

Then i'm using BeSweet to convert the WAV to MP2 ... this also seems to play fine.

Then i've encoded the .avi in CCE Basic.

The problem i have is when i play the DVD folder back after Authoring ( using TMPGEnc DVD Author ), the film gets to a certain point ( 11 mins ), then i get really bad Audio sync till the end of the movie. ??

    .avi file = 1:36:51
    .mpv file = 1:36:51
    .wav file = 1:36:51
    .mp2 file = 1:36:51

    ???

I've tried encoding and riping several times, but always get the same error, in the same place .. !

    imporper VBR message.
    thats exactly yor problem.
vdub will rewrite the header to cbr.

try virtualdubmod and select don't rewrite.

i usually use avisynth, so no problem there.
