help only just managed to get the software (257) onto my box, by havin to go to a friends. but gettin bk home an tryin to get the channels on my box is just not happenin. i go to select sevice provider which i tried all, as could not see sky on there. then go onto auto search an everyone came up failed! my cable is in the from the wall goes into the cable input (with an adapter)then an arial from tv out in to the tv. has anyone got any ideas why the search is comin up failed?
The cable input is right then. You won't see sky on select provider, only ntl, ex c&w etc... If you don't know which provider yours is and cannot find out just do an automatic search on each one in turn. One of them will be right and work.
