Sony and publishers could offer people with modchips the service of downloading the games off of the internet for example San Andreas for $29.99. It cuts the price down and production costs too.

Sony could also implant a security feature so that it could only be burned once.

Just a idea, So what do you think?

ya, if they started that, then lots of people would get it, and then the "underground" scene of ps2 game downloading would roar up, and start telling people who subscribed to the sony service about free games, and the whole thing would blow up right in sony's face, and if they sold chips then everybody would get the idea "hey, i'm downloading and buying these games online, what's to stop me from only paying $3 and renting the game to copy"
