OK I have Win XP Pro (no SP1 or SP2). I installed it on a 250GB HDD. But it only lets me use 127GB of it and the other half is lost. I've heard that you can recover the lost space if you upgrade to SP2, which I did. It still says that there's only 127GB. Can someone please help me recover the lost GBs because I have no idea how. Thanks ahead.
Have you looked on the web site of the maker of your hard drive.All makers post on there sites how to solve your problem.
Ah thanks for the suggestion, I went ahead and used Partition Magic 8 and recovered all the lost HDD space. That program works great, highly recommended.
